Building Motivated Learners Through Reading

The Reading Literacy Learning Center Inc. is a Washington D.C. based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization developed through the collaborative effort and concern for inner city youth achievement, by teachers, administrators and caring individuals.

We are committed to inspire each student's confidence and motivation to reach higher goals, ultimately instilling a life-long sense of curiosity about learning. Various activities are provided to reduce idle time after school.

In today's society, far too many children fall through the cracks and become victims of unfortunate circumstances. It has been documented time and time again, that juvenile delinquency can be directly attributed to reading failure. It is our resolve that all children can and want to learn and become high achievers.
